Description

Pro3dure´s GR-17 series resins are biocompatible materials for the additive manufacturing of temporary crowns and bridges. The printodent GR-17 temporary is indicated for temporary restorations in the anterior region. printodent GR-17.1 temporary lt has exceptional mechanical properties compared to conventional temporary materials with a Flexural modulus > 5000 MPa (according to ISO 178**) and a Flexural strength of 112 MPa (ISO 4049). Moreover printodent GR-17.1 temporary lt exhibits excellent tissue compatibility and can therefor be used ideally for long term temporaries. As the first material in its class worldwide, printodent GR-17.1 temporary lt received FDA approval for two indications: temporaries and denture teeth. This expands the possibilities in your laboratory and makes the use of this material extremely efficient and economical.

Advantages:

  • biocompatible materials
  • very good mechanical properties
  • 7 colors – 2 sizes
  • low viscosity
  • easy to clean
  • radiopaque

Available in tooth shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, B2 and bleach for 3D printers that emit light at ≤ 405 nm.

COMPATIBLE WITH DLP/LCD/SLA 3D PRINTERS.

How to use

Preparation:

  • GR-17 temporary bottles should be well shaken before use (Fig.1).

  • Make sure that GR-17 temporary temperature is within 23 °C to 30 °C. If possible, always store a bottle GR-17 temporary in your production unit in order to avoid temperature differences during refilling.

  • Impurities due to operational mistakes cannot be excluded. With respect to the low viscosity of the resin it is possible to filtrate GR-17 temporary and stir it on a regular base (Fig.3). To avoid bubbles let GR-17 temporary rest for 1 hour before usage.

Manufacturing process:

  1. Prepare data (CAD & build preparation).
  2. Choose process parameters (build style, etc.).
  3. Transfer prepared data to 3D printing device.
  4. Prepare 3D printing – shake bottle.
  5. Fill resin tank of 3D printing device (Fig.2). Bubbles can be removed with a clean spatula or by a recoater routine.
  6. Build the parts.
  7. Clean parts (with IPA ≥ 97 % or equivalent cleaning agent)
approx. 10 min. in an ultrasonic bath or equivalent
    device – precleaning recommended.
  8. Dry parts, until there are no residues of IPA or equivalent
    cleaning agent.
  9. Post curing (2 x 5 min. / wall thickness > 2.5 mm: 2 x 10 min.):
inert atmosphere recommended (use adequate light
    curing device).
  10. Finish parts. The dental objects created with GR-17 temporary can be coated and repaired as usual.

Important

  • To avoid detrimental effects on material quality do not expose the liquid material to irradiation under any circumstances.

  • Deviations from the described manufacturing process may lead to different mechanical and optical properties of the GR-17 temporary material.

  • Ensure personal protective gear during processing.

  • Caution: Polymerized resins are chemically resistant – avoid stains on clothing!

  • Avoid any contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse with adequate running water, consulting a doctor if necessary.

  • The lot number and the best before date are indicated on each GR-17 temporary packaging. In case of claims please always indicate the lot number of the product.

  • Do not use the product after expiry of the best before date.
